Our 2012 rides are every day.
Crisp winter mornings and fresh clear days, the vines have now lost their leaves. The mountains and the morning fog, make for a stunning ride. This is our favorite time of year to ride. There's nothing like a good glass of wine after a ride through the vineyards.

RIDE AND TASTE - 125.00 - Ride through Fess Parkers family ranch and vineyards. Explore the vast acreage of the ranch that offers spectacular 360 degree views of the Santa Ynez valley. After your ride, make your way to the tasting room to taste eight wines from the Fess Parker vineyards.







BRUNCH RIDES - 155.00 - This is my favorite time to ride. During the morning hours, there seems to be a greater opportunity to spot deer, bobcats, coyotes and other wildlife. Choice of quiche (vegetarian or non vegetarian) and salad (see menu)


Champagne Cowboy Package - Ride and wine tasting followed by a 50 minute massage and a bottle of champagne for 2. Call us about this relaxing "vino therapy" courtesy of Champagne Spa in Los Olivos. This makes a perfect holiday gift too.

Happy Canyon Club. Turkey, bacon, Monterey jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, on sourdough.
Tuscan Treasure. Proscuitto, cappicola, salami, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayonnaise, oil and vinegar, on French roll.
Cachuma Chicken. Grilled chicken breast, Monterey jack cheese, pepperoncini, lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayonnaise, on sourdough.
Valley Veggie. Grilled zucchini, goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, lemon aioli, on honey whole wheat.
Ballard Canyon. Roast beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, on sourdough.
Tepusquet Turkey. Roasted turkey, white cheddar cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayonnaise, on honey whole wheat.

One year ago a friend and I created Vino Vaqueros. Our vision is to share with you the true Santa Ynez Valley experience. The Vino Vaqueros are able to share this unique adventure on horseback with key ingredients; safe horses, fun people, stunning views and wonderful food and wine.


In the past year of business, I have been so honored by the amount of interest and guests we have received. We have had riders from different parts of the country and from all over the world. Vino Vaqueros was featured in Sunset Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. It has been very enjoyable meeting every one of you!

Looking for a more formal lunch experience?
Vino Vaqueros now offers catering!
Allow our friend, Chef Giorgio Curti, to offer you the true local, fresh, and gourmet wine country experience. For an additional cost, your party can customize a buffet style lunch of Italian cuisine. Most menus include a fresh salad, pasta, and soup, as well as a local meat or fish.
Try our catered lunch after your ride, or forego the ride and just have the lunch!
We cater for large parties too!
