FAQ’S & Regulations

  • Rides are by reservation only. The ranch is on private property so we CAN NOT accept walk-ins. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your ride time-guides and horses cannot run late for the start time after yours.

  • Same-day rides may not be available.

  • Our horses are suitable for all levels of rider. Children 8 years and older are welcome! Please note-there is no “sharing the same horse” allowed for an adult and their child.

  • All rides are guided and done at a walk regardless of experience per our insurance.

  • ​Our maximum group size is 10. We offer a group discount for parties of 6 or more (10$ off per rider). ALL rides are private, we do not mix groups. If you have 11-12 riders, please give us a call.

  • Saddlebags will be on your horse's saddle for your personal items. We strongly suggest bringing water and sunscreen.

  • Cameras are recommended and welcomed! No long neck-straps of any kind please, and no backpacks.

  • Closed-toed shoes with minimal heels are mandatory.

  • The weight limit is 240 pounds with an acceptable height to weight ratio. Please refer to the height to weight ratio chart below to answer any questions.

  • If you or someone in your group has special needs, please inform us upon booking.

  • No dogs please. 

  • Please remember that horseback riding does require a certain level of physical fitness. Please keep this in mind before booking your ride. As a rule of thumb, if you would not ride a bike- you should not ride a horse. For safety reasons, our guides have the right to refuse a rider based on this standard.

  • If using a donation or gift certificate, please notify us upon booking. Donations must be used before the expiration date on the card and please present upon the arrival.

  • The ranch speed limit is 10 MPH, anyone driving excessively will be asked to leave and their ride forfeited without refund.

  • Please remember that we turn away other adventurous folks to hold your reservation-If you no show, there is no refund. Our cancellation policy is 24 hours before your ride start time- deposit will be refunded. Cancellations after 24 hours is full ride charge. Our “No Show” policy is full ride charge plus 20% gratuity.

  • NO SMOKING OR VAPING PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY
